Your mission as a Técnico de compras junior

You will be helping out in the purchasing department, however the goal is that you learn enough to become purchasing account manager. This role is currently being developed by the whole team, as we are a small company (which is currently expanding). To see who are our suppliers and clients and what we do, please click here.

Your responsabilities as a Técnico de compras junior

Suppliers management (for organic products)
  • You will be helping out in the market research for the incorporation of new brands and suppliers to our portfolio of products.
  • Within this area, you will learning how to negociate prices and conditions with new and existing suppliers.
  • Contract management with the suppliers
  • Assessing and managing existing supplierss
  • Process review and optimisation
Purchasing management
  • Daily communication with suppliers
  • Issuance and monitoring of purchase orders
  • Process review and optimisation
Logistics management
  • National transport management
  • Management of international transport: sea, land and air
  • Preparation of export documentation
  • Review and improvement of processes and procedures
App container builder management
  • Keep the software up to date with all our supplier data
  • Review and propose improvements to the app’s programming

 

Essential requirements for the role of Purchasing and Logistics Manager

  • Being qualified for the role with a relevant qualification. (It can be economics, logistics, international trading, engineering or anything that has prepared you for the role).
  • Experience of 1 or 2 years in a similar role.
  • Proficiency level in English as well as Spanish C1 preferably, but overall you must be able to perform all of the above responsabilities both in English and Spanish
  • Having good computer skills, we use Slack, Trello, CRM, iCloud and our own software, as well as the MS office package.
  • Having a good understanding of the entrepreneurial and startup environment
  • Availability to travel, both within the country and abroad. You will be attending to fairs, visiting suppliers and such.
  • Living in Valencia, Spain and being happy about working in the office. Although you can work from home one day a week if necessary, we are a small team and we work in the office.
